Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive General Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment in our Care Home. This role requires a versatile individual with a background in electrical, mechanical and plumbing tasks as well as experience general maintenance activities. The successful applicant will possess excellent organisational skills and a commitment to delivering a high-quality service. Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative general maintenance
- Complete repair projects, ensuring safety standards are adhered to.
- Complete maintenance activities with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality assurance.
- Provide excellent service by addressing internal or external needs promptly and professionally.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance purposes.
Experience
- Previous experience within a maintenance environment is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to maintenance work.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Customer service orientation with the ability to handle internal or external client interactions professionally.
