- EXPERIENCED RESTAURANT STAFF ONLY PLEASE
We are looking for experienced waiting staff for Chishuru, our modern west African restaurant near Oxford Circus tube. The restaurant operates Monday to Friday only and is closed on weekends. We are now recruiting a new member of floor staff to work 30-35 hours per week. (This job is not suitable for foreign students with a 20hr cap during term time.)
The restaurant offers a set menu only charged at £105 at dinner and £55 at lunch, with frequently changing dishes. We are therefore looking for someone who is interested in learning about our cuisine and is happy to answer lots of questions from our lovely customers. Our style is warm and relaxed but efficient, and we've got a really lovely team both front and back of house. Plus, our staff meals are banging.
You must have 1+ years' table service restaurant experience to apply please - we are not looking for people who have only worked in cafes / retail / pubs, or people with no restaurant experience at all. Experience in a busy, fast-moving venue is helpful. Wine knowledge is very helpful.
The hourly rate is made up of minimum wage plus service charge, and increases depending on how busy we are.
To apply, you must have the right to work in the UK and you must currently be based in London, so that you have a manageable commute. You must be able to work evenings, especially Friday evenings; this is not suitable for someone who only wants to work days.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From £16.50 per hour
Benefits:
- Company pension
- Discounted or free food
