At Furniture Outlet, we don’t just sell furniture—we help our customers turn houses into homes. We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Furniture Sales Advisor to join our team at our Dagenham store.
As a Bed Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by helping customers choose the right bed, mattress, and sleep products to suit their individual needs. You will use your product knowledge and sales skills to provide expert advice while working towards sales targets.
This is a *full-time, permanent position* working *5 days per week, including **Saturday and Sunday, with **Tuesday and Wednesday as your regular days off*.
*Working Hours:* *9:00am – 6:00pm*
Key Responsibilities
* Welcome customers and provide an outstanding shopping experience.
* Understand customers' sleep requirements and recommend suitable beds, mattresses, and bedroom furniture.
* Demonstrate product features and benefits with confidence.
* Maintain a clean, well-presented, and inviting showroom.
* Process sales accurately and efficiently.
* Handle customer enquiries professionally, both in person and over the phone.
* Assist with stock management, merchandising, and replenishment.
* Work as part of the team to achieve individual and store sales targets.
Skills & Experience
* Previous retail or sales experience, ideally within the furniture or bedding industry.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A customer-focused approach with excellent listening skills.
* Good organisational and time management skills.
* Basic numeracy skills for processing transactions.
* A proactive sales approach with the confidence to upsell and maximise every sales opportunity.
