We are seeking an experienced Head Chef for our 140 cover high-end Modern British restaurant Mimosa in Colchester

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of kitchen management, recruitment, training and developing a strong and fully trained BoH team and will be responsible for all menu developments, using locally sourced fresh produce only.
We are looking to recruit an ambitious and driven Head Chef, who is able to demonstrate a stable and progressive background in quality, freshly prepared cuisine, to an extremely high standard. This must be coupled with the ability to lead and inspire their team and drive the restaurant to success.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate;
- An experienced head chef who works to exceptionally high standards
- A creative and passionate individual, with demonstrated experience in Modern British cuisine with seasonal menus.
- An individual with excellent time management, communication skills and ability to work under pressure
- A chef able to ensure adherence to highest quality food preparation and hygiene standards at all times
- A minimum of 5 years experience at head chef level using freshly produced dishes
