The role
We have an exciting opportunity for an individual with between 0 to 5 years’ PQE, to join our growing Agriculture, Estates and Rural Property team, which continues to experience exceptional success within the sector.
The ideal candidate will have experience of providing legal advice in some or all of the following areas, however, someone with commercial property experience, and an interest in specialising in rural and landed estates work, will also be considered:
- Selling, buying or letting rural property, including farms, landed estates, amenity land and woodland;
- Easement and rights of way, private or public;
- Agricultural tenancies, including successions;
- Minerals ownership, including title, registration and trespass issues;
- Working mines and minerals;
- Estate management work;
- First registrations;
- Sporting rights (shooting and fishing);
- Rural property secured lending (acting for lenders and/or borrowers); and
- Renewable energy and energy storage schemes such as options and leases for solar farms.
So who are we looking for? We want someone who is proactive, a self-starter, with a strong technical ability. We've also set our sights on an individual with excellent people and client management skills, a keen interest in business development and good commercial awareness.
Our Team
The Agriculture, Estates and Rural Property team is a key part of the wider Muckle LLP team, which is over 200 people strong. Our people are based across our Newcastle, Cumbria and Teesside offices, and we welcome applications from candidates interested in any of these locations.
