Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Baby and Preschool Swimming Teacher to join our vibrant aquatic education team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and safe swimming lessons tailored to young children, fostering confidence and water safety skills from an early age. Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging swimming lessons for babies and preschool-aged children, ensuring a fun and safe learning environment
- Deliver age-appropriate activities that are set to a plan, including songs and games
- Monitor each child's progress and provide constructive feedback to parents or guardians
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and hygiene in the pool area at all times
- Foster positive relationships with children and their families, encouraging participation and enjoyment of swimming lessons
- Adapt teaching methods to suit individual needs and learning styles
- Ensure all equipment is used correctly and maintained in good condition
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including emergency procedures
Requirements
- Preferable experience in sport coaching, or working with early years
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members
- Enthusiastic, patient, and nurturing attitude towards young learners
- Ability to follow and lead on creative lesson plans that are both educational and enjoyable
- Relevant certifications in swimming instruction or early childhood education are desirable but not essential; training will be provided where necessary
- A genuine passion for working with children and promoting water safety
- Ability to work as part of a team in a dynamic environment
