Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic team member to join our busy kitchen team at Fun Shack.
This is a part-time position, with hours available throughout the week, including weekends and school holidays. Additional hours may be available during busy periods.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing food, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene, and helping to ensure our customers receive excellent service.
Previous kitchen or catering experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.

We are looking for someone who can manage and work as part of a team in a fast paced environment to help us consistently deliver top quality food and provide excellent customer service.
Tasks:
Your responsibilities will include:
-Manage the opening and closing of the kitchen
- Prepare, cook & present food, quickly & efficiently meeting our high standards
- Assist in keeping the kitchen clean, hygienic and tidy at all times
- Work safely around the kitchen equipment and monitor temperature sheets
- Maintain accurate food ordering and stock levels
- Monitor portions and waste
- Serve on counter and use tills
- Make Barista Coffees
Skills Needed :
- Cooking
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and able to manage & work as part of a team
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety, Hygiene and Cooking Procedures and regulations (e.g. COSHH etc.)
- Time Management
Experience:
Candidates with background/work experience in fast paced catering would be ideal. Applicants will ideally hold basic or intermediate Food Hygiene certificate and be qualified to QCF 2 or equivalent (or be prepared to work towards this qualification).
