Bar Staff
About the Role
We are looking for friendly, reliable and customer-focused Bar Staff to join our team. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving drinks, and helping to maintain a welcoming, clean and professional environment.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with people and is comfortable working as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming customers and providing friendly, professional service
- Taking and processing customer orders accurately
- Preparing and serving drinks in line with company standards
- Operating the till and handling payments accurately
- Maintaining a clean, organised and well-presented bar area
- Restocking drinks, glassware and other supplies as required
- Clearing and cleaning tables and service areas
- Supporting colleagues to ensure smooth service during busy periods
- Answering customer questions and dealing with queries professionally
- Following company procedures relating to hygiene, health and safety and responsible service
- Supporting opening and closing duties where required
About You
The successful candidate will ideally be:
- Friendly, approachable and confident with customers
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Comfortable working in a busy environment
- A strong communicator and team player
- Organised and able to work efficiently under pressure
- Customer-focused with a positive attitude
- Well presented and attentive to detail
Previous bar or hospitality experience is desirable, but full training can be provided for the right candidate.
