We are an ambitious and innovative leader within the packaging supply industry and part of a large European group.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Category Manager to join our Product and Purchasing Team and take ownership of our strategically important Cartons, Boxes and Postal Packaging categories. This role would suit an individual with a natural desire to build their Category Management career in a fast-paced, innovative and competitive area of FMCGs.

What we would like from you:
· Confident in taking ownership for delivering the revenue performance against budget for your assigned product categories, including supporting sales teams to win customer opportunities.
· Highly experienced in all elements of category management, with a proven track record of developing category strategies, delivering commercial growth and managing strategically important product categories.
· Ability to build effective relationships with Marketing and Sales Teams to ensure that developments in both product innovation and customer demands are understood and can be effectively translated into compelling sales messages.
· Recognised as the commercial and product expert for strategically important categories, leading supplier negotiations and influencing business strategy, building strong relationships with suppliers to maximise commercial advantage, while supporting the sales team with quotes and tenders, occasionally attending customer visits to provide additional expertise.
· Previous experience of working with packaging would be highly advantageous.
· Strong attention to detail and competence with Excel is a must.
