Chard Prep School is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Early Years professional to join our wonderful Nursery and Reception team from September. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a thriving independent preparatory school where children are known as individuals and learning is brought to life through creativity, exploration and care.
Essential Requirements
- A minimum Level 6 qualification in Early Years.
- Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) is preferred; however, applications from candidates with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and significant Early Years experience are also warmly welcomed.
- Proven experience working with children in a Nursery and/or Reception setting.
- An excellent understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- A caring, enthusiastic and committed approach to providing outstanding early years education.
- The ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- High expectations while creating a fun, engaging and nurturing learning environment.
