Singing Teacher Wanted – Stagecoach Performing Arts Tiverton
Venue: Sunningmead Community Centre, Tiverton
Hours: Saturdays, 10:00am – 1:00pm (term time only)
Start Date: Saturday 12th September 2026
Contract: Part-time, 12 weeks per term, 3 terms a year.
Are you a passionate and inspiring singing teacher who loves working with young people? Stagecoach Performing Arts Tiverton is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Singing Teacher to join our dynamic team on Saturday mornings.
About the Role:
You’ll teach children aged 6 to 18 years, helping them develop their vocal technique, confidence, and performance skills in a fun, creative, and supportive environment.
- Plan and deliver engaging singing lessons across a variety of musical styles
- Support student progress and prepare them for shows, demos, and assessments
- Collaborate with our Drama and Dance teachers to deliver high-quality performing arts education
- Create an inclusive space where every student can thrive
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience teaching singing to children and young people
- Strong knowledge of vocal technique and musical theatre repertoire
- A positive, reliable team player with great communication skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Desirable:
- Musical theatre experience
- Piano/keyboard skills (helpful but not essential)
