Job Summary
As the Social Care Manager for Camphill Community Clanabogan you will be supporting the Registered Manager in leading our experienced team of health and social care experts to deliver RQIA regulated services including outstanding person-centred care for adults with a learning disability, Autism, acquired brain injury, and complex needs. You’ll ensure quality and compliance and, working alongside the Registered Manager, support with service growth. The Social Care Manager will join the management team and add their skills and expertise to ensuring that the charity continues to meet all of its operational requirements and that it develops and flourishes for its next 40-year tenure.
Duties
· Maintain and/or exceed compliance with all relevant regulatory standards eg RQIA Health Care Trusts, national and professional standards, eg care and support plans, training, weekly and monthly monitoring and reporting.
· Lead on the smooth running of the health and social care aspects of the charitable organisation.
· Lead, mentor and develop team members to deliver excellent, personalised health and social care outcomes.
· Ensure that social care related policies are up to date and implemented.
· Plan for and allocate resources to ensure flexible deployment of staff across services to meet residents’ needs.
· Conduct and ensure regular and effective 1:1 supervisions and appraisals with team members.
· Oversee quality assurance audits, risk management and safeguarding.
· Manage referrals and service development.
· Build strong relationships with families, commissioners and health partners.
Qualifications
· Level 5 QCF (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care.
· Minimum 3 years’ experience supporting adults with a physical/learning disability, Autism, acquired brain injury and complex care needs in an RQIA regulated setting.
· Experience managing small teams.
· Strong IT skills (Microsoft suite) and excellent communication.
· Full driving licence and access to a car.

Pay: £36,500.00-£38,500.00 per year
