Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Closing Cleaner to join our dedicated cleaning team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing commercial spaces at the end of each business day, ensuring a spotless environment for clients and staff alike. 40 Hours, spread over 5 shifts over the week, from 4pm to 12am every night
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of commercial areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and according to established standards before closing time
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other consumables as needed to maintain operational readiness
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment to prevent accidents or hazards
- Conduct routine inspections of the premises to identify areas requiring additional attention or maintenance issues
- Maintain cleanliness logs and report any damages or maintenance needs to supervisors promptly
- Adhere to company policies regarding waste disposal, recycling, and environmentally friendly cleaning practices
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is highly preferred
- Familiarity with various cleaning techniques and equipment used in large-scale cleaning operations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure thoroughness in every task
- Good physical stamina and mobility to perform cleaning duties effectively throughout the shift
