KSG Royal Kitchen is a growing food business specialising in delicious, freshly prepared Indian vegetarian food.
We are looking for a reliable and passionate Chef to join our kitchen team.
The Role As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking fresh Indian vegetarian dishes while maintaining high standards of taste, presentation, hygiene and food safety.
Key Responsibilities - Prepare and cook a variety of Indian vegetarian dishes.
- Follow recipes, portion sizes and kitchen procedures consistently. - Prepare ingredients including vegetables, spices, sauces and other kitchen items.
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and cleanliness standards. - Ensure food is prepared safely and served to the required quality. -
Manage kitchen preparation during busy periods. -
Minimise food waste and use ingredients efficiently. -
Keep workstations, equipment and kitchen areas clean and organised. -
Follow food safety, allergen and health & safety procedures. -
Work effectively as part of a small kitchen team. Requirements - Previous experience as a Chef, Cook or in a professional kitchen is preferred. -
Good knowledge of Indian vegetarian cooking. - Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety. -
Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen. - Reliable, punctual and responsible. -
Good teamwork and communication skills. - Food Hygiene Certificate is preferred but training may be considered for the right candidate.
Working Hours Flexible shifts available,
with approximately 20–40 hours per week, depending on business requirements and candidate availability.
