Were now looking for a reliable Yard Operative to join our team at our Uckfield branch.
The Role
We are looking for a Yard Operative to support the safety and efficient running of our branch.
This is a handson, outdoor role involving heavy materials and direct customer interaction.

Load and unload materials and timber

Pick and prepare customer orders

Assist customers collecting goods from the yard

Maintain a clean, organised and safe yard area

Operate forklift trucks (if trained)

Follow all health and safety procedures

Positive, cando attitude

Good communication and customer service skills
-
Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)

Full UK driving licence

Yard or builders merchant experience (desirable)

Sales or product knowledge is a bonus

Monday Friday 07:0017;00

Monday - Friday 07:00 - 17:00 Every other Saturday 08:00-12:00
