Bar & Catering Assistant Windermere Golf Club
Windermere Golf Club is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Bar & Catering Assistant to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a welcoming golf club environment, providing excellent service to our members, visitors and guests.
The Role
As a Bar & Catering Assistant, you will help deliver a high standard of customer service across our bar and catering operations. Duties will include:
- Serving members, visitors and guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Taking and serving food and drink orders
- Preparing and serving drinks from the bar
- Assisting with food preparation and general catering duties
- Keeping the bar, dining and service areas clean, tidy and well presented
- Operating the till and handling payments accurately
- Supporting the team with functions, events and golf competitions
- Following food hygiene, health and safety and licensing requirements
- Working as part of a team to ensure members and visitors receive an enjoyable experience
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable and customer-focused
- Reliable, organised and able to work as part of a team
- Confident communicating with members and visitors
- Able to work in a busy environment while maintaining a high standard of service
- Flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends and during events when required
- Previous bar, catering or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided for the right candidate
