Technical Advisor (Structural Waterproofing)
We are seeking a motivated Technical Advisor to support the delivery of structural waterproofing projects, acting as a CAD Technician and an onsite validator of projects
Key Responsibilities
- Act as technical contact for site issues, investigating defects and supporting resolution
- Attend construction sites to assess installation problems and gather information for review
- Review architectural and structural drawings with focus on BS8102:2022 compliance
- Assist with technical proposals, drawing mark-ups (AutoCAD) and quotations
- Attend client, contractor, architect and engineer meetings to provide technical input
- Maintain CRM records, site reports, photographs and project documentation
- Support warranty reporting and compliance records
- Monitor compliance with specifications and highlight technical risks
Requirements
Essential:
- Strong communication and IT skills
- Clean UK driving licence (Pool Vehicle site visits)
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Team player
- CAD experience
Preferred:
- Construction experience
- CSSW qualification (or willingness to work towards qualification with support from team)

You will be practical, proactive and keen to develop within a specialist technical construction role. Comfortable working both on-site and in an office environment, with strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
Pay: From £26,500.00 per year
