We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team in a nurturing and structured children’s home environment. You will play a key role in supporting the Registered Manager in delivering high-quality care that meets the standards set by Ofsted and aligns with the principles of the Children's Homes Regulations 2015.
About the Role
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will:
- Provide day-to-day care and emotional support to children aged [insert age range] with EBD.
- Act as a positive role model and promote structure, boundaries, and consistency.
- Lead shifts and support junior staff members.
- Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and behavior management strategies.
- Promote education, independence, and life skills development.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children at all times.
- Liaise with social workers, families, and external professionals.
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – essential.
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in a children’s residential setting.
- Experience supporting young people with EBD and challenging behaviours.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to lead shifts confidently.
- Sound knowledge of safeguarding procedures and regulatory standards.
- Full UK driving licence (preferred).

Pay: £26,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
