Honington CE Primary School are seeking a motivated, caring, and patient Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team and provide one to one support for a child.
You will be committed to inclusive education and be passionate about helping every child reach their full potential. You will need to build positive, consistent relationships and help create a secure, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.
We welcome applicants who have experience working with children with special educational needs or who have undertaken relevant training.
Your responsibilities

Support pupils with learning, behaviour and wellbeing.

Work with teachers to deliver planned activities and interventions.

Encourage children’s confidence, independence and positive relationships.

Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
You will

have experience of working with children with special educational needs in a primary school setting and have the skills and attitude to succeed in the role

have high expectations for both learning and behaviour, with a genuine belief in the potential of every child and a commitment to inclusive practice

be able to use your initiative and adapt easily to change

be warm, flexible, positive and able to work well as part of a team.
