Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Linen Porter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling linen supplies, maintaining cleanliness in designated areas, and supporting the overall cleanliness standards of our hotel. Your proactive approach will ensure our guests experience a comfortable and spotless environment at all times.
Duties
- Collect, transport, and organize clean and soiled linens throughout the hotel premises
- Ensure linen and storage areas are well-stocked, tidy, and accessible
- Assist in maintaining high standards of cleanliness in linen storage rooms and laundry areas
- Support housekeeping staff with linen distribution to guest rooms and public spaces
- Follow safety procedures when handling laundry equipment and moving heavy loads
- Report any damaged or missing linens to management promptly
- Help uphold hygiene standards by adhering to cleaning protocols and sanitation guidelines
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles is preferred
- Familiarity with hotel operations or hospitality environments is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods is essential
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail are important
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills are highly valued
Pay: £12.74 per hour
