Providing professional high quality and customer focused Planed and Reactive repairs service to GYBC and to ensure effective Management and compliance within the team.
Purpose of role
- To monitor, inspect and Supervise Operational team members equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment/repair.
- Ensure good quality workmanship, which upholds company standards, complies with building regulations and follows safety requirements, ensuring an effective, courteous service is provided.
- Survey and report via softwares for integration into procured suppliers systems and GYBC data base for true job costing and labour allocation.
- To maintain the Operational skills matrices' data base to advise of compliancy budget forecast for the training needs of the R&M operational team.
- Responsible for the R&M MSDS COSHH data base and control documents.
- Implementation of H&S records such as HAVS, PUWER, and the asset register providing evidence for auditable tests and process.

Essential requirements:
- Recognised Playground Inspection qualification.
- Minimum three years' playground inspection and assessment experience.
- IOSH, NEBOSH and/or PIC qualifications, or willingness to achieve relevant qualifications.
- Good working knowledge of COSHH and health and safety legislation.
- Ability to work at height.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Flexibility to participate in an emergency call-out rota and occasional evening/weekend work.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of other trades.
- Financial awareness and budget understanding.
