The Role
You will take a lead role in delivering audit and assurance services, including conducting audits for a diverse range of SME clients across various industries. You will be responsible for reviewing financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and leading audit teams to provide a high-quality service.
A key focus of your role will be leading audits for groups of companies, where you will gain hands-on experience in the complexities of auditing consolidated financial statements and intercompany transactions. You will work closely with senior team members to ensure that group accounts are accurately prepared and compliant with accounting standards.
In addition to your audit responsibilities, you will be responsible for the preparation of financial statements (including consolidated accounts) and tax computations, ensuring adherence to accounting and tax regulations. You will also gain experience in other advisory services and specialist projects, developing a solidskillset in both accounting and taxation practices across a variety of industries.
