Assembly Operative | Staverton, Cheltenham
The rewards:

Hours:
- Monday to Thursday 7:30am – 4:15pm, Friday 7:30am – 12:00pm
The role of Assembly Operative:
- Assembling and testing electrical sub-assemblies and completed systems
- Integrating electrical sub-assemblies into main products
- Assembling components issued from stores
- Completing all relevant production and quality documentation
- Using a tablet-based system to access digital work instructions, attend online meetings and training, and send and receive company emails
- Barcode scanning supplier information into spreadsheets
- Supporting stock control for production builds and monitoring stock levels at workstations
- Maintaining a clean and organised working area in line with 5S standards
- Participating in continuous improvement activities
The ideal Assembly Operative:
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience working with electrical components desirable
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
- Comfortable using tablets and digital systems
- Strong commitment to quality and workplace organisation
