Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Roofing Labourer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will assist with various roofing projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on site. Duties
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment
- Prepare work areas by clearing debris and setting up scaffolding or safety barriers
- Carry out heavy lifting of roofing materials such as tiles, shingles, and insulation materials
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or roofing is advantageous but not essential; on-the-job training will be provided
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to working at heights and around construction sites
- Willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
