Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and personable Lettings Administrator/Negotiator to join our growing team. This role involves engaging with prospective tenants, managing property viewings, and facilitating smooth lettings processes. Duties
- Respond promptly to enquiries from prospective tenants via phone, email, in person and arrange property viewings
- Prepare tenancy documentation and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently
- Liaise with landlords and tenants throughout the lettings process to facilitate smooth transactions
- Maintain up-to-date records of viewings, applications, and tenancy agreements using organisational systems
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing queries and resolving issues promptly
- In time to progress to property viewings, visits, inventories and checkouts
Requirements
- Proven administrative experience, preferably within the property or lettings sector but not essential
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Professional attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Valid UK driving licence is essential
Working hours 9:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch and working every 4th Saturday 9:00am to 4:00pm with a half hour lunch. (when working Saturdays you get 1 day off in lieu the following week)
