Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Production Operative to join our busy blinds manufacturing team.
This is a hands-on role manufacturing made-to-measure blinds to individual customer specifications. You will work as part of our production team to ensure orders are manufactured accurately, efficiently and to a high-quality standard.
Full training will be provided, so previous blinds manufacturing experience is not essential.
The Role
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Manufacturing and assembling made-to-measure blinds
- Measuring and cutting materials accurately
- Cutting and preparing fabrics and blind components
- Using production machinery, equipment and hand tools
- Reading and following customer order specifications
- Assembling blind components and operating mechanisms
- Checking finished products for quality and accuracy
- Packing completed blinds ready for dispatch
- Working efficiently to achieve daily production targets
- Identifying and reporting manufacturing or quality issues
- Keeping your workstation clean, safe and organised
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Supporting other areas of production when required

Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, textiles, blinds or window coverings would be beneficial but is not essential.
