Overview
We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented cleaners to join our team in the Derby, Nottingham and Burton on Trent areas. Driving licence and access to own vehicle preferred.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common spaces
- Ensure all cleaning tasks meet health and safety standards while maintaining high-quality standards
- Use appropriate cleaning tools and chemicals efficiently and safely
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other essentials to ensure facilities are well-equipped
- Collaborate with team members to complete daily cleaning schedules promptly and effectively
- Address any cleaning-related issues or spills immediately to maintain a safe environment
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed
Requirements
- Prior janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is a plus
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a dynamic setting
- Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and report any issues promptly
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends if required
