The Role
Bicester MOT & Service Centre Ltd is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our growing independent garage in Bicester.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works well as part of a team and is comfortable carrying out a wide range of servicing, maintenance repairs and diagnostic work.
This is a full-time, permanent position with no weekend working.
Working hours
Monday to Friday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
What You'll Be Doing
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Carry out vehicle servicing and repairs to manufacturers requirements
- Repairs to steering, suspension and braking systems
- Timing belt and clutch replacements
- Carry out diagnostics on electrical and mechanical systems
- Vehicle health checks and inspections
- Identifying and accurately reporting additional work required
- Using digital job cards and workshop systems
- Ensuring all work completed efficiently while maintaining a high standard
- Supporting other technicians where required
What We're Looking For
Ideally, you'll have:
- Previous experience working as a vehicle technician
- Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- MOT testing licence (preferred but not essential)
- Diagnostic experience beneficial
- UK Driving licence
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well within a team
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Pride in producing high-quality work
