We are seeking a friendly and efficient Coffee Shop Assistant to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, adhering to company standards.
- Assist customers with their orders in a courteous and professional manner.
- Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter, seating area, and equipment in accordance with food safety standards.
- Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately using till systems.
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Uphold high standards of hygiene and safety throughout the shift.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and addressing any queries or concerns promptly.
Requirements
- Previous barista experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures is preferred.
- Experience in serving customers in a busy environment is advantageous.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Friendly demeanour with strong communication skills.

Pay: £12.21-£14.33 per hour
