An auto Installation Technician is responsible for the installations of High-end automatic bollard systems for businesses and residential customers. They handle most aspects of the installation process, but excluding electrical connections, Bollard Security’s existing electrician is to handle all aspects of electrical connections at each installation. Ensuring that all equipment is working correctly after installation. Installations are carried out Nationwide.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct groundwork preparation, including scanning for underground services using CAT scan equipment to ensure safe installation
- Operate hand tools and power tools effectively and safely to complete installations to high standards
- Communicate respectfully with customers to explain the installation process, operation, and maintenance requirements
- Must represent Bollard Security to the highest standard, installations are carried out for influencers from time to time
- Adhere to safety protocols during all installation and maintenance activities
- Drive company vehicle to and from installation sites, and manage logistics for equipment and materials
- Work independently or as part of a team
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in groundwork, construction, or related installation fields, but training will be provided.
- Familiarity with landscaping, building practices, and mechanical systems is beneficial.
- Ability to read technical plans and follow installation specifications accurately
- Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting mechanical or operational issues
- Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Valid driver’s license
