Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
- Ensure all areas are clean and tidy, including guest rooms, communal areas, and restrooms.
- Handle laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, linens.
- Assist with cooking and meal preparation as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages as necessary.
Skills
- Proven experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred.
- Previous hotel experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
