Location: Worlifts Limited, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire
Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Worlifts Limited is a well-established engineering company specialising in hydraulic, mechanical and lifting equipment solutions. We provide sales, service, testing, manufacture and bespoke engineering solutions to customers across a wide range of industries. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a proactive and reliable Workshop Assistant to join our team at our Bromsgrove facility.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 7:45am – 4:00pm
The Role
This is a varied, hands-on position that combines warehouse, logistics and workshop support responsibilities. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our workshop by managing goods in and goods out, maintaining stock accuracy, and supporting our engineers with ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and book in deliveries.
- Prepare and dispatch customer orders and equipment.
- Ensure goods are packaged securely and accurately.
- Maintain accurate stock records and organise storage areas.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries.
- Support engineers with workshop projects and equipment preparation.
- Prepare materials and components for manufacturing and assembly.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment.
- Operate workshop equipment safely and in accordance with company procedures.
- Carry out general workshop and warehouse duties as required.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- A positive, can-do attitude.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- A willingness to learn and support a variety of engineering activities.
- Basic computer skills.
- Experience within a warehouse, workshop or engineering environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
A forklift licence would be beneficial, although training can be provided for the right candidate.
