Baker /Baker Assistant /Baker-Driver
Location: Abingdon-on-Thames
We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic person to join our team at our Abingdon-on-Thames bakery.
Previous bread baking experience is required.
Your main duties will include preparing dough in line with daily production orders, assisting with bakery operations, and helping maintain the high standards and consistency our customers expect. The role is physically demanding and includes regularly lifting and moving heavy flour bags.
We're looking for someone with a can-do attitude, who is punctual, reliable, and consistent. In a bakery, consistency is key. We can consider part-time or full-time applicants and are happy to discuss flexible working arrangements.
Nice to have:
- Experience baking cakes, pastries, or other sweet products
- Full UK driving licence
- Administrative office experience
Pay:
Pay depends on experience. Bakery Assistants typically start from around £13 per hour, with higher rates for experienced bakers.
We're also looking for experienced, hands-on Bakery Managers and Team-Leaders.
