Job Summary
Fully Private associate dentist role, immediate start, Friday half day 8:30am - 1:00pm to take over an existing list with a view to add more days as the list builds.
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment journey. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures, including restorative, preventive, and cosmetic treatments.
- Interpret medical imaging to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with practice protocols.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, dental therapists, assistants, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in CPD.
Experience
- A recognised dental degree (BDS or equivalent) is essential.
- GDC registration essential.
- Previous experience in a private clinical setting is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
- A commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a friendly and professional manner.
We have hygienist support, oral surgeon, implant dentist and a principal that loves a root canal for internal referrals. All the usual mod cons, and it is a really lovely practice.
