Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and personable Events Protocol Support to join our team. This role involves assisting with the organisation and execution of various events, ensuring seamless guest experiences and maintaining high standards of hospitality. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational and communication skills, with a background in hospitality or related fields. Responsibilities
- Support the planning and coordination of events, ensuring all protocols are adhered to
- Assist with guest reception, providing exceptional customer service and hospitality
- Manage event logistics, including setup, breakdown, and on-the-day operations
- Upsell additional services or products to maximise revenue opportunities during events
- Maintain effective time management to ensure all event activities run smoothly and on schedule
- Organise event materials, schedules, and guest lists efficiently
- Communicate clearly with team members, clients, and guests to facilitate smooth operations
- Contribute to fundraising initiatives by promoting relevant programmes or donation opportunities during events
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout event activities
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, hotel services, restaurant work, or event support is preferred
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proven ability in upselling and enhancing guest or client experiences
- Good time management skills with a keen eye for detail
- Experience in fundraising or guest services is advantageous
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism at all times
