Snappy Response Waste is a registered waste removal and clearance company, providing a cost-effective and environmentally responsible alternative to skip hire and bulky waste collection across the West Midlands.
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Waste Management Operative to join our growing team.
Essential Requirements
- Aged 25+ (due to vehicle insurance requirements)
- Minimum 5 years' driving experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Reliable and punctual
- Hardworking with a positive attitude
- Able to communicate professionally with customers
- Comfortable carrying out physically demanding work
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Willing to work in all weather conditions
- Self-employed or employed applicants welcome
- Preferably based in the Birmingham or Walsall area
The Role
The role involves travelling to various locations across the West Midlands to collect, clear and responsibly dispose of waste. This is a hands-on position and will involve heavy lifting, including furniture, appliances and other bulky items, so a good level of physical fitness is essential.
Hours
This is a zero-hours contract, however, operatives typically work 28–35 hours per week, depending on workload. Working hours vary, with the majority of work taking place Monday to Friday.
