Little Legends is a family run private day nursery based in the Reddish area of Stockport. We are currently seeking to recruit a professional and experienced practitioner, to lead practice within our amazing play room groups. The current position is for the Baby Room, - Room Leader, providing daily care for children from approximately 6month - 18month in age.
What we are looking for:-
The ideal applicant will
- Hold a level 3 childcare qualification (as a minimum) and have at least two years of qualified experience.
- Fully understand the requirements of the EYFS.
- Have a passion to provide families and children with the highest possible standards of childcare.
- Have previous experience of managing your own key group and supervising junior members of staff.
- Have excellent organization and communication skills, and be confident in their ability to form excellent relationships with both children, parents and other employees.
- Have an interest in holistic approaches, including children's Yoga and the ethos of the Forest School approach.
- Will ideally have prior experience of caring for children under 18 month in age. Specific Baby Room training can be provided for practitioners looking to expand their knowledge and skills if required for this role.
