Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook fish and seafood items with precision, following established recipes and safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the frying station to ensure a safe and efficient workspace
- Monitor oil temperature and cooking times to achieve optimal texture and flavor in every dish
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as portioning, breading, and assembling ingredients for frying
- Follow all food safety protocols to uphold hygiene standards and prevent contamination
- Support the kitchen team during busy hours by efficiently managing meal preparation tasks
- Ensure all fried items are served promptly and presented attractively to delight our guests
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation or cooking, preferably in a restaurant or similar setting
- Knowledge of kitchen safety practices and food handling procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail when measuring ingredients, monitoring cooking times, and maintaining cleanliness
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration
- Basic understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Serving experience is a plus, demonstrating excellent customer service skills
