About the Role
- Completing laundry for service users.
- Complying with any infection control requirements, which may require use of PPE
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the manager and maintenance assistant promptly.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stocked and in good working condition.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing all cleaning tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to requests promptly and courteously.
Skills
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot cleanliness issues quickly.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and cooperation.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with service uses and team members.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Hours of work
You will be expected to work as part of a rolling rota along with other members of the housekeeping team in order to provide housekeeping cover 7 days per week.
There is some flexibility in regards to shift start and finish times, which will be discussed at interview.
