Duties
- Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food production and preparation, to ensure timely and quality service
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
- Oversee food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and compliance with health regulations to ensure a safe dining environment
- Develop and refine menu items, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends to delight guests
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless serving experiences and customer satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs to optimize operational efficiency
- Train new team members on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and service standards
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in a professional kitchen or restaurant setting
- Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation and cooking techniques
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with effective team management skills
- Solid understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
- Previous restaurant experience with a focus on hospitality and customer service excellence
