Job Description – Scaffold Labourer - Age 18-20
Job Purpose
To assist scaffolders with the safe erection, alteration and dismantling of scaffolding while ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently and in accordance with company procedures and health and safety legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist scaffolders with all scaffolding operations.
- Load, unload and move scaffold materials.
- Maintain clean and safe work areas.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and scaffolders.
- Wear and maintain the required PPE.
- Comply with company health and safety procedures and site rules.
- Report hazards, damaged equipment and incidents immediately.
- Attend training and toolbox talks as required.
Requirements
- Physically fit and reliable.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Positive attitude towards health and safety.
- CSCS Labourer Card (essential).
- CISRS COTS and a full UK driving licence are desirable.
Reporting To
Scaffold Supervisor / Contracts Manager
Hours
Monday to Friday, with overtime and weekend work available when required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
