Job Summary
The Workshop Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage a team, maintain equipment, and provide exceptional customer service. The Workshop Manager will be instrumental in assembling products, repairing equipment, and ensuring that all workshop activities adhere to safety standards. You will need to be a strong individual able to work under pressure and adhere to all rules and regulations of a workshop
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily workshop activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Assemble products according to schematics and specifications, ensuring high-quality standards.
- Perform heavy lifting and manage the movement of materials within the workshop.
- Maintain and repair workshop equipment using hand tools and power tools as necessary.
- Provide guidance and training to team members on proper equipment use and safety protocols.
- Handle customer service inquiries related to workshop services and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular inspections of tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Implement safety measures to prevent accidents and injuries in the workshop environment.
- Manage inventory of tools, materials, and supplies required for workshop operations.
