We're looking for a Veterinary Receptionist

Daily responsibilities include:
- Welcome clients and their beloved pets with a warm smile and friendly attitude
- Manage our front desk like a pro - answering phones, booking appointments and keeping everything running smoothly
- Keep client/patient files up to date, from medical history to insurance details
- Lend a hand to our vets and vet nurses with important admin tasks
- Handle payments and billing with accuracy and kindness
- Keep the reception area tidy, organised, and inviting
- Deliver top-notch customer service, making every client feel heard and cared for
What we’re looking for:
- Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
- A minimum of 2 years customer service experience, ideally in a veterinary environment
- A team player with great people skills and a positive, empathetic attitude
- Detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple tasks at once
- Tech-savvy and confident with common software tools
- Calm, collected, and professional - even when the day gets a little wild
Working hours:
This is a permanent full-time role, working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. Shift times will be 8am-5pm or 10am-7pm. You will also work a rotation of Saturdays with TOIL.
