WITH IMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLE, our Leeds based client require experienced bench hand joiners at their workshop.
You will need to be at least a minimum of NVQ L2 and completed your apprenticeship.
There is also the opportunity to go full time onto their books after a 13 week probationary period.
The company specialises in the manufacture of:
- Bar Serveries
- Bespoke Joinery
- Booth Seating
- Panelling (acoustic / ceiling / wall)
Machinery used:
Bandsaw
- Crosscut saw
- Edgebander
- Mortise and Tenon
- Planer
- Spindle Moulder
- Thicknesser
Hours are:
- 730am to 4pm Monday to Thursday
- 730am to 3pm on Friday
Salary is dependent on experience, and overtime is paid at:
- Through the week - time and a third
- Saturday - time and a half
- Sunday and Bank Holidays - double time
Essential requirements:
- Bench Joinery Experience (minimum 3 years)
- Experience of working within a workshop environment
- Recent, trade specific references
- Confident operating a wide range of workshop machinery
- The ability to understand drawings
- Use your own initiative, keep calm under pressure with attention to detail
