We are looking for a Community Public Health Nurse to join our 5-19 Child and Young Person Public Health Service , working within the Healthy Child Programme offer in schools. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment while making a real impact on the lives of children and young people alongside a team of school health nurses.
A full training package will be provided, as will opportunities to develop your career and skillset further. We are able to offer this part time, term time role, with a complete training package and a preceptorship programme.
As a Community Public Health Nurse, you will:
Support children and families across a variety of settings, particularly schools.
Work closely with primary and secondary schools, delivering public health initiatives on emotional wellbeing, sexual health, safeguarding, and managing medical conditions.
Undertake Healthy Child Programme assessments and contribute to health promotion activities.
Work in partnership with families, schools, and agencies to improve health outcomes.
