Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hospitality and Events Manager to oversee the organisation and delivery of exceptional guest experiences across our venue. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing events, ensuring outstanding guest services, and driving revenue through effective upselling and organisational strategies. Duties
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of events, from planning through execution, ensuring seamless delivery in line with client expectations.
- Manage daily operations of the venue, including staff scheduling, resource allocation, and maintaining high standards of guest service.
- Develop and implement upselling strategies to maximise revenue opportunities across food, beverage, and event packages.
- Foster excellent relationships with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure smooth communication and successful event outcomes.
- Oversee the organisation of fundraising events or special occasions, contributing to community engagement and organisational growth.
- Monitor health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies.
- Lead, motivate, and train staff to deliver exceptional hospitality experiences while maintaining organisational efficiency.
- Handle guest enquiries promptly and professionally, resolving any issues to uphold the venue’s reputation for outstanding service.
- Maintain detailed records of events, bookings, and financial transactions for reporting purposes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management, ideally within restaurant or hotel environments.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Demonstrated ability in upselling techniques to enhance revenue streams.
- Proficiency in time management to prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience in fundraising activities is desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of guest services principles with a passion for delivering memorable experiences.
- Previous experience in restaurant or hotel settings will be considered an advantage.

Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
