Duties
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and dignity
- Support the implementation of personalised care plans tailored to each individual’s needs and preferences
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance mental well-being and reduce feelings of loneliness
- Administer medication and basic health checks under supervision, following prescribed protocols
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, including updates to care plans and daily logs using IT systems
- Communicate effectively with team members, residents, families, and external healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Drive or accompany clients on appointments or outings when necessary, ensuring safety at all times
Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is highly desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong communication skills in English to interact clearly with clients, families, and colleagues
- Basic IT skills for documentation and updating electronic care records efficiently
- Valid driving license is preferred for roles involving home visits or transportation of clients
- Ability to work as part of a team with a positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others
