Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of high-quality care and early childhood education tailored to each child's individual needs
- Assist in planning and implementing engaging activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills
- Foster a safe, welcoming environment by maintaining cleanliness, safety protocols, and hygiene standards
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure consistent care and support
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure their safety at all times
- Support management in daily operational tasks such as record keeping, attendance tracking, and preparing learning materials
- Contribute positively to team meetings and ongoing training sessions to enhance childcare practices
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is desirable but not required.
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and child development stages
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with children, parents, and colleagues
- Demonstrated management and leadership qualities when supporting team activities or supervising children
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment
- Valid driving license is desirable for supporting flexible transportation needs or off-site activities
- Passionate about childcare with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on children's lives

Pay: £26,420.00-£35,719.97 per year
