Responsibilities
- Operate sewing machines and related equipment to assemble, alter, or repair garments and textiles with accuracy and efficiency.
- Follow detailed patterns, sketches, or technical instructions to produce high-quality finished products.
- Inspect finished items for quality control, ensuring seams are secure, measurements are accurate, and overall craftsmanship meets standards.
- Make precise alterations to garments based on customer requests or fitting requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored and maintained.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Keep detailed records of work completed, including measurements taken and alterations made.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sewing or tailoring, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Familiarity with various sewing techniques and machinery operation.
- Warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and steady hand-eye coordination for precise stitching.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings or patterns accurately.
