Early Years Practitioner | Corby (NN17 1XA)
Hours: Minimum of 30 hours per week over 4 days
Hourly Rate: £12.71 – £13.00 (based on qualifications and experience)
Do you enjoy inspiring young children, working in partnership with families, and helping every child reach their full potential? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and experienced nursery team in Corby.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a caring, stimulating, and secure environment that supports children’s learning and development.
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that reflect the EYFS framework and children’s individual interests.
- Take on the role of key person, developing positive relationships with children and their families.
- Offer guidance and encouragement to less experienced colleagues, helping to build a strong team.
- Observe, assess, and record children’s progress to inform future planning.
- Work closely with Room Leaders and Heads of Unit to ensure consistently high standards.
- Follow safeguarding, health, and safety policies at all times.
What You’ll Need:
- A Level 2 qualification or higher in Early Years Education or Childcare (e.g. CACHE, NVQ).
- At least two years’ experience working within an early years setting.
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
- A caring, patient approach with strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A current DBS, Paediatric First Aid, and Safeguarding certification (or willingness to obtain).
